Peter Symonds College is one of the largest sixth form colleges in the country and is situated in Winchester, Hampshire. The Adult & Higher Education Division (AHED) responds to the diverse needs of the wider adult community. Our programme for adults ranges from the development of essential, basic skills, courses for fun and leisure, through to foundation and full honours degrees. AHED aims to provide a second chance for many and the opportunity to advance both in the workplace, socially and academically.
We are looking to appoint a part time tutor to teach Year 1 French Adult evening classes from September 2019. Year 1 level is beginners level, although it is expected that the students would progress with the teacher in subsequent years. These are non-exam, adult leisure courses although they still follow a structured plan, therefore a teaching qualification is desirable.
This appointment is made subject to sufficient students enrolling on the course to make it financially viable.
Closing date: Monday 8 July at 12.00 noon
Please apply on-line at www.psc.ac.uk under ‘Staff Vacancies’, or telephone 01962 886166 for an application pack quoting the relevant reference number.
