Job overview

Are you an experienced Bricklayer looking for a new challenge in 2017? Highbury College is looking to recruit a passionate Bricklayer with the drive to pass on their skills to our students.

You need to be able to engage with a wide range of students with varying needs and abilities whilst delivering excellence in the Brick workshop. You will be able to make a difference to the bricklayers of tomorrow in this rewarding role.

If you would like to work for a Grade 1 (Outstanding College) and you have a Level 3 in Brickwork then we would like to hear from you.

Duties
As per Job Description (attached), but essentially to deliver both the theory and the practical for all Brickwork programmes, supported by the Workshop Supervisor

Delivery hours per year
Notional 1000 hours (including both theory and practical)

Repayment schedule As this is above the top of scale (£33,263 p.a.) and the annual differential is £2,737 p.a., if the post holder leaves of their own volition within the first two years, they must repay as follows:
• 1 -12 months - £1,369.00
• 13-24 months - £2,737.00
• After 24 months, no repayment due

A one off additional payment of £1,500 will be paid upon completion of 2 years in post.
