This is an exciting opportunity to join Virtual School Sensory Support which is within the newly formed Education Inclusion Service in Norfolk.

A highly motivated teacher is required to join a team of teachers of the deaf supporting deaf children and young people, at home and in a range of educational settings across Norfolk, including resource bases.

The Virtual School Sensory Support offers a comprehensive and flexible range of support to deaf children and their families. We are seeking an inspirational teacher with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to think and plan creatively. A proven record of successful partnership working with parents, health and social care colleagues is an advantage.

You will need to have excellent oral and written communication skills. They will understand the barriers to access arrangements and learning that deaf children and young people face and how these barriers may be overcome.

An opportunity to train for the mandatory qualification whilst in post is on offer for the right candidate.
