This is a fantastic opportunity to join our warm and happy school. Whitehall is a collaborative and inclusive school in Waltham Forest which is committed to ensuring the very best outcomes for all members of our school community. We are very proud to also have a Specialist Resource Provision for Deaf pupils.

We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and high calibre After School Care Manager to join our energetic and dynamic team. This post will suit a practitioner who has high expectations of themselves and who is ambitious in providing a high quality service to all children and parents who will use this service.

This is a new venture for the school and one which will now allow us to provide wraparound care to our school community.

The post will include the day-to-day operations of the provision and the support workers who will help run it alongside the manager. Admin responsibilities will include ensuring registers and all records are maintained and up to date.

 What we are looking for a candidate whom is:

  • Able to use autonomy and discretion to provide a high quality service
  • Children centred and aware of safeguarding
  • Able to lead others in a calm and professional manner and has good behaviour management skills
  • Professional, polite and willing to work with others to deliver good results

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Deliver on the daily running of the after school care provision
  • Manage the admin re children attending, medical needs and collections
  • Ensure the correct information regarding payments are well maintained and shared with school office.
  • Ensure all safeguarding elements are met and training for all staff is kept up to date and revenant
