Uniquely located in 150 acres of parkland just half an hour from central London the Mill Hill School Foundation offers education to boys and girls aged between 3 and 18 in its four Schools. Mill Hill School was founded in 1807, when its founders wisely chose its location on the top of a hillside for its fresh air, safety and natural beauty. 

We are now looking for an experienced Receptionist/School Administrator to join our existing Office Team.

The working hours for this role are 12.45pm – 6.30pm. Please note that the role is not term time only as the School operates all year.

The role benefits from free on site parking, free School lunches, access to the School's gym and swimming pool facilities, all set in our beautiful grounds. 

The Receptionist duties will include but are not limited to: welcoming visitors and guests with courtesy, tact and warmth, presenting a professional positive impression of the School, answering the main switchboard telephone in a friendly and professional manner, managing and distributing incoming office e-mails, providing general administrative support to the Office Team, managing all post coming in and out of the Office, assisting with the management of lost property.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a School Reception/Administration role and have strong IT and interpersonal skills. This position also requires a high degree of discretion and confidentiality at all times. 

So if you are articulate, presentable and can demonstrate a co-operative, reliable, customer focused “can do” attitude with good communication skills and good team ethic then we would be delighted to hear from you.

Mill Hill School Foundation and its staff are committed to safeguarding the welfare of children. The School is registered with the DBS and successful applicants will be required to complete successfully the Disclosure procedure at the Enhanced level. The Mill Hill School Foundation offers education to boys and girls aged between 3 and 18 in its four Schools. The Schools occupy a magnificent 160 acres of beautiful grounds just 10 miles from Central London with easy access to underground and main line stations.

Mill Hill School is the senior school in the Foundation and the largest in our group, catering to boys and girls aged 13-18. We offer weekly and full boarding, although the majority of students are day pupils.
