Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate ALN support specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in supporting students with dyslexia, ADHD, speech therapy and communication needs, and other learning differences. Fluency in both Spanish and English is highly desirable, as it enhances our ability to serve our diverse student body.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Provide tailored support to students with ALN (Additional Learning Needs), including dyslexia and speech therapy requirements.

·        Conduct thorough assessments and observations to identify students' individual strengths and challenges.

·        Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to develop personalised learning plans and interventions.

·        Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed.

·        Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on students' progress and offering guidance on supporting learning at home.

Qualifications and Skills:

·        Experience in ALN support in EYFS, Primary and Secondary.

·        Specialised training or certification in dyslexia and/or speech therapy and/or study skills, and/or Exam Access Arrangement experience is preferred.

·        Fluency in both Spanish and English languages.

·        Strong observation skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
