Alternative Curriculum Manager

Part Time – 30.5 hours per week, term time only

1 year Fixed Term Contract initially, may be extended or made permanent dependent on the academy’s business needs.

Salary: Grade 5, point 10-15 £21,322 - £23,541 FTE Pro-rata Salary: £14,919.10 - £16,471.75

We are looking for an Alternative Curriculum Manager at St Aldhelm’s Academy. You will be responsible for the management of our on-site Alternative Curriculum Programme and be absolutely committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable students.

We are looking for someone who is empathetic and compassionate, able to engage with young people and build positive relationships. A resilient personality is a must, as are good communication skills.  

The successful candidate will be required to have excellent Maths and English skills – equivalent to GCSE grade C or above. Previous experience in a school setting would be highly beneficial.
