An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and committed individual to manage our Lyonian Office, leading the development and delivery of the next phase of the School’s very successful Alumni Relations programme. The vision is for The John Lyon School to build on success to date, and create a sector leading alumni engagement programme over the next 3 years.
The Alumni Relations Manager will research, develop and deliver all aspects of the programme in conjunction with the School’s senior management team, alumni and Old Lyonian Association. Strong relationships with the whole School community (i.e. pupils, staff, governors, parents, Old Lyonians and other supporters of the School) will be vital in growing the alumni base and involvement in School life. Ideally, candidates should possess strong social media and IT know-how to enable progressive communication and engagement with the widest possible audience.
The ability to manage a range of projects concurrently, to meet deadlines and targets, to develop forward looking yet informative online and print publications coupled with advanced interpersonal skills, are essential requirements for the role.
Hours: 40 hours per week x 52 weeks per annum
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 depending on proven skills and abilities.
