Alumni Relations Manager / Old Oundelian Club Secretary

We are seeking an Alumni Relations Manager / Old Oundelian Club Secretary to work closely with the President and Members of the Old Oundelian Club (OO Club).

The department

The Oundle Society is a department of Oundle School which seeks to bring together its supporters, including Old Oundelians (OOs) and parents, for mutual benefit as well as promoting the School’s fundraising priorities.  It also provides administrative and other services to the Old Oundelian Club (OO Club), which is a separate entity.

The role

The purpose of the role is broadly to:

  • be responsible for providing an agreed service to the President and members of the OO Club
  • ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Club’s operations
  • oversee and develop relationships with a broad cross-section of OOs, and
  • develop new initiatives to engage the OO community in a way that meets OOs’ needs and aspirations, and provides optimum value.

The requirements

Key to your success in this role will be your experience managing multiple stakeholders and ability to deal even-handedly with a diverse group of individuals.  Your strong administrative efficiency will enable to you to organise a varied workload.  You will need to have an understanding of Alumni Relations and the needs and aspirations of an Alumni body, through either working with an Alumni body or your personal experience as an Alumni.

The details

You will work 40 hours per week, with core hours of work 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, some evening and/or weekend work will be required, for which time of in lieu will be agreed and arranged.  This is a 52-week role and is not affected by Term dates. 

Salary is £30,500 per annum.
