The increasing scale and complexity of our group means we now seek an outstanding Director of Teaching and Learning to play a crucial role in ensuring our continued trajectory of organisational success and significant educational impact. 

The successful candidate will be an experienced educationalist with an exceptional record of leadership experience gained in the maintained sector as a Head, MAT leader, Ofsted Inspector or local authority education director.  They will be passionate about excellence in teaching, knowledgeable about current developments in curriculum development and will possess significant experience of fostering dynamic and successful cultures of teaching and learning. The flexibility and collaborative ability to work well with Creative Education Trust’s central team and the wider staff in its academies is essential, as is a commitment to lifelong learning, and Creative Education Trust’s vision of empowering young people with the knowledge, skills and creativity they need to succeed in school and in life.
