 TEAM Education are looking for an Apprentice in Admin Support:

As an Apprentice you will work, under supervision, to provide support for finance activities, including processing Requisitions, RFI (Request for invoice) RFP (Request for payment) orders, receipting and monitoring of invoices spend.

To provide clerical support, such as photocopying and electronic filing, and undertake other administrative duties as required.

To develop the ability to produce documents using appropriate IT software for a range of activities such as writing letters and creating spreadsheets.

To input data, ensuring information is accurate and systems are maintained and kept up to date.

To develop the ability to retrieve, collate and report on information from data systems, as required

To run reports and use the data to create letters using mail merge. The data will also require inputting into the customer tracking software 

To receive, communicate and action messages verbally and in writing, this includes dealing with incoming telephone calls and providing colleagues with electronic messages.

To be able to plan and be responsible for own work, meeting deadlines set by your line manager.

To support and work effectively with all colleagues in the team.

To provide excellent front line customer service to our citizens, colleagues and external partners.

You will be fully supported by your colleagues to develop your skills across a range of Administration skills. learning how to tackle a range of problems and how to deal with them. You will build your confidence to work independently.

To actively participate in your own development plan which will be agreed with the line manager and the assessor from Access Training the training provider.

To take part in meetings, supervision, training and other events to assist with your development, as requested by your manager.

To support colleagues within the service with any other duties as directed.


You won’t be left on your own and you won’t ever be put in a risky situation, as you will always have support from the team who will be there to help you out. You will, however, be responsible for thinking on your feet and coming up with practical solutions to everyday problems.

Once Apprenticeship is complete, a permanent position will be offered within the company.
