Apprentice Exams and Data Assistant

Driffield School and Sixth Form esteem the qualities of tolerance, courtesy and hard work in the daily life of our school.  We are a proud and confident community, achieving success through trust and respectful relationships.

We are part of The Education Alliance, a growing multi-academy trust, currently consisting of South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College, Malet Lambert School, Driffield School and Sixth Form, The Snaith School, Hunsley Primary School, and Yorkshire Wolds Teacher Training.  We are here to make great schools and happier, stronger communities so that people have better lives.  We do this by always doing what is right, trusting each other and standing shoulder to shoulder and doing what we know makes the difference.  Doing what is right means always acting with integrity, in the interests of others and being honest, open and transparent.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Data team as an Apprentice Exams and Data Assistant.   You will be trained to assist with the administration of exams and data under the direction of the Data Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department.  A good standard of education is required with at least a GCSE of grade C or above in Maths and English, as well as an interest in Data and Exams.

You will attend a half-day session at the Hull Business Training Centre each week where you will develop your Business Administration knowledge and capabilities, alongside the work you are doing in school.  The majority of the NVQ will be carried out in the workplace by taking evidence from your job.  This opportunity is a one year appointment and is a term time only appointment.

We are a values driven organisation, offering autonomy, collaboration, shared learning and development, opportunities for innovation, personal and professional growth and a high level of professional trust.

Interested?  You can find out more about us by watching our video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJPq99Jon24  and visiting our website (www.theeducationalliance.org.uk).

Interviews are anticipated for week commencing 9 December.

If you would like to discuss this role further and visit the school, please contact Miss Sanders, HR Assistant on 01377 232362 or by email at lsanders@driffieldschool.org.uk
