Salary: £14,450 p.a. Full-time (37 hours per week). Full year. Fixed term for 18 months. Based at London Road campus.

You will be working within the Technical Services Team aiding students and members of staff with a variety of IT technical problems, in an efficient and timely manner. You will need to provide both 1st line technical support and perform administrative assistive tasks, including assistance in all aspects of corporate computing. This entails the upgrading and installation of new hardware and software as well as preforming routine maintenance. You will also need to be able to work with third parties in a professional manner. You will be trained in various aspects of administration duties while studying towards a Level 3 Business Administration Standard apprentice qualification consisting of Functional Skills in Maths & English if not already achieved. You will need a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades 4-9 or equivalent, at least a level 2 qualification in computing, have excellent customer care skills, be willing to work as part of a team and be able to plan and prioritise your workload.
