We are seeking an enthusiastic school or college leaver to join our high-performing team and play a fundamental role in the development and delivery of science subjects across the School of Science. The School of Science is a large and extremely successful School, with outcomes consistently well above national benchmarks, and high levels of student satisfaction. The department offers A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Geology, as well as BTEC Extended Diplomas in Applied Science, GCSE Biology, and Foundation Entry Degree courses The teaching team in the School of Science comprises 20 teaching staff, working with four science technicians. In total, over 1000 students study a Science course at Runshaw. Students benefit from an exciting range of additional enrichment opportunities, which equip them to progress in high numbers to prestigious university courses such as Medicine, Veterinary Science and Dentistry.
