Welcome to Sir Thomas Boughey Academy

At Sir Thomas Boughey Academy, we are proud to be a safe, happy and ambitious school where students genuinely want to learn and reach their potential — and where committed, highly motivated staff inspire them to achieve more than they ever thought possible.

We believe every child has the right to an exceptional education and the opportunity to flourish under the guidance of devoted staff. Our values of excellence, kindness and respect shape everything we do, from the classroom to the wider community.

As a member of our team, you’ll be part of a school where:

  • Success is measured not just in grades, but in confidence, character and ambition.
  • Student leadership is actively encouraged, with opportunities for pupils to take on meaningful roles and responsibilities.
  • Staff development is a priority, with bespoke CPL and opportunities through Windsor Academy Trust.
  • Staff turnover is low, thanks to our supportive and caring environment — many of our team were once students here and chose to return.
  • Community links are strong and growing, with events and partnerships that enrich school life.

Our lessons are rich and challenging, and our Boughey Extra programme offers students a wide range of activities to discover new passions and grow into well-rounded individuals.

Judged ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted in 2022, we’re proud of our journey and excited for what’s ahead. If you’re passionate about education and want to make a lasting impact, we’d love to welcome you to our school family.

Be part of something special. Be part of STB.
