Gladstone Park Pre-School

Gladstone Park Pre-school shares a school site with Gladstone Primary Academy, on the Gladstone Street site. We are located in a separate building, called St Barnabus Community Centre. The setting has one main room, with an outdoor garden area and accommodates children ages 2-4 years old.

The Role

We are looking to appoint a Pre-School Practitioner Apprentice to join our committed team to deliver safe, high quality education and care for young children. Daily duties will include supporting to deliver and monitor the group’s EYFS curriculum, delivering adult led activities, facilitate stimulating child led play and oversee child initiated activities.

The successful candidate will have the ability to develop effective relationships with the children as well as other stakeholders (parents/carers, colleagues and external agencies). Ability to use initiative and prioritise ongoing and immediate demands is also essential to this role, as well as maintaining emotional resilience at all times.

As an apprentice you will have the Trust will support you to learn the practical skills required whilst completing your qualification and earning a salary while you learn
