Role Title: Lecturer in Apprentice Programme (Engineering)

Location: Deeside

Contract Type: Permanent, Full time 

Salary: £28,751 - £44,442 salary will be based on a salary assessment and experience. Upper pay range points UP1 are subject to evidence of previous progression to the Upper Pay Spine.

We are now recruiting for a Lecturer for our Apprentice Programme in Engineering. In order to be considered for this role, you must have proven experience and competence of lecturing and be educated to degree level, with an ability to teach Engineering Mathematics. Candidates with an Electrical Background would be desirable for this role.

As a Lecturer at Coleg Cambria you will be required to deliver both practical and classroom based learning to our students. You will also be responsible for enrolling students on appropriate courses and provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities as well as ensuring the safety and welfare of our students at all times. 

Essential Requirements

• Qualified to at least Level 6/Degree Level in a relevant specialist subject area 
• Ability to teach Mathematics to at least Level 3
• Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, C&G 7407)
• Able to identify, interpret and apply specific knowledge to practice
• Competent digital literacy skills.
• Be able to develop and use a range of teaching and learning techniques
