Job overview

The Board of Directors of the Romero Catholic Academy Trust alongside The Governors of Blessed Trinity RC College wish to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic Apprentice Teaching Assistant to provide one to one and group support for pupils. The main duty of the role will be supporting pupils with their emotional and learning needs whilst implementing clear boundaries and routines.

We are looking for someone who: -

·        Is confident around children

·        Is friendly and approachable

·        Is a solid team player

·        Has excellent communication skills

·        Has the ability to work with children and their families in a sensitive and positive way

·        Is aware of and comply with safeguarding, health & safety, confidentiality and data protection policies and procedures

·        Has planning, organisational and IT skills

Blessed Trinity RC College is a mixed, non-selective Roman Catholic secondary school, situated in Burnley, Lancashire. There are approximately 1,250 students at the college aged between 11-16.

Pupils are able to explore their Christian faith with optional Chapel drop ins during lunch.
