The Role
As a Teaching Assistant within St Joseph’s Catholic Academy, no two days are ever the same. Whether you are working on a 1:1 basis, or in small groups providing interventions sessions with targeted students, you will have a pivotal role in the development of our students both academically and personally.
Through the Apprenticeship you will have the opportunity to work with a large number of teaching and student support staff, who are able to provide you with excellent knowledge and experience across all areas of student development and education.
With a dedicated School Mentor, you will be able to develop your own pedagogy and explore different areas of student support including Literacy, Numeracy and SEMH amongst others. The Apprenticeship itself is remote and allows for flexibility in learning styles and approaches with a Learning Mentor available to support you with all academic tasks required.
