Nelson and Colne College Group is a beacon for educational excellence, made up of a family of colleges – Nelson & Colne College, Lancashire Adult Learning & Accrington & Rossendale College. We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Apprenticeship Administrator to join our Central Services team on a full-time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week. This role will be based at Accrington and Rossendale College but travel across any of the College campuses may be required.

The successful candidate will provide highly effective, efficient and timely administrative support which meets the varied needs and complexities of Apprenticeships.  You will ensure that all aspects of the College’s business are focused on Apprentices and work closely with the Apprenticeship Team and support teams in order to ensure the college delivers an outstanding offer.  

The main duties include:

• Process Apprenticeship paperwork following College procedures and processes

• Have an understanding of the Apprenticeship funding rules and College processes

• Administration of all processes associated with work-based learning and apprenticeship

• Provide advice in relation to Apprenticeship Administration

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C or above

• ECDL, CLAIT or equivalent IT qualification or experience

• Experience of working in a varied administrative role

• Experience of working in a busy office environment

• Experience of Apprenticeships
