The Exciting Role 

A new and exciting opportunity has become available for an Apprenticeship Delivery Administration Officer to join our dedicated Apprenticeship team on a full-time permanent basis, working 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will work closely with the Apprenticeship team, the administrators, and external stakeholders to support the processes throughout the learners’ journey. The ideal candidate will have an eye for attention to detail, reviewing and tracking all the apprenticeship documentation to ensure accuracy   and compliance in line with the college policies and apprenticeship funding rules. Planning and organisational skills are required to ensure timely planning/scheduling and monitoring of exams, interviews and observations for learners to support the end point assessment process for our apprentices. 

This role will be based at our Accrington and Rossendale College site, however, travel across sites may occasionally be required.


What You Will Be Doing

• Work closely with the Apprenticeship team to ensure compliance/quality checks are conducted in line with funding rules and audit requirements and college policies  

• Identify and resolve any gaps or omissions to ensure effective reporting of apprentice progress and completion and compliance 

• Communicate effectively and timely with the assessors, administrators and external stakeholders to ensure completion of set tasks /deadlines are achieved/resolved  

• Co-ordination of the End Point Assessments for learners, liaising with the internal exams team and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness  

• Co-ordinate the planning/booking of assessments/exams/observations for different sector areas on various EPA platforms. 


What We Are Looking For:

• 4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above 

• Relevant Level 3 or Level 4 Qualification in a relevant subject

• Up-to-date understanding/willingness to learn the apprenticeship programmes and the apprenticeship learning journey. 

• Excellent planning and organisation skills with excellent attention to detail 

• A commitment to working collaboratively across internal teams and external stakeholders to quality assure the processes and support continuous review and improvements   

• An ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise work and make efficient use of time workload planning 

• Excellent use of Microsoft Office 365 and IT skills /willingness to learn internal systems- Smart Assessor and EBS
