Job overview

Here at Carshalton College, we are looking for an Apprenticeship Manager to work as part of the Construction department managing the delivery and quality assurance of apprenticeship programmes in the areas of Electrical, Plumbing and Carpentry and all commercial contracts with external partners.


Managing the curriculum delivery and assessment team as appropriate, you will be responsible for all aspects of delivery, quality and quality assurance and support the Construction department and the Group Head of Apprenticeships by developing the curriculum area and by bringing new clients.


We’re looking for an individual who is qualified to Level 3 (as a minimum) in a relevant subject area and who has experience of working in the Construction sector. We’d like you to have a successful and proven track record of curriculum development and apprenticeship success, engaging with employers and developing apprenticeships and curriculum. You’ll have previous success of managing an apprenticeship delivery team and of tracking and monitoring apprentices throughout their programmes.


Sector relevant Assessor and Verifier Awards are essential for this role.

Carshalton College is a co-educational further education college based in Sutton. It is a non-denominational school.

The college has been an education provider for over 60 years. It is a major provider of full-time, part-time, apprenticeships, access, undergraduate and supported learning courses.
