Inspire their remarkable with us

Academies Enterprise Trust is a registered Apprenticeship Training Provider offering Apprenticeships across the Trust and to the wider Education sector.  We are Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and our provision continues to go from strength to strength. We offer Level 2-6 programmes and have a clear strategy in place for growth over the next 3 years.

Sadly our current Apprenticeship Manager is leaving us in March so it’s time to find someone new to take us on the next stage of our journey.  We are looking for a dynamic individual who has the depth of delivery experience within the apprenticeship sector and understands ‘Apprenticeship Standards’.

You will take on a key role, leading our Apprenticeship provision to increase numbers, manage the team, deliver our apprenticeship programmes and ensure quality assurance operates effectively. With this in place, we will continue to ensure our Apprentices are inspired to choose a REMARKABLE LIFE.

You will be a focused individual with a brave, forensic approach to training, assessment, and tracking.  You will be an experienced manager who ideally is used to managing a dispersed team located across England.

We passionately believe that every child can discover their own remarkable life. It’s what motivates us around here. We know this vision requires something extra. Which is why at AET, you’ll find more. More opportunities, so you can forge your own path. More care and support, so you can prioritise what matters most. More purpose, for you and for the children we’re inspiring.

We offer:

  • More influence - As a Trust with 58 schools, the work of our support team directly influences the lives of tens of thousands of children.
  • More opportunity for a national role - Our central team develops strategies and resources that support our academies nationwide.
  • More connection - A chance to experience what’s happening within our diverse academies.
  • More technology so you can make more impact - G Suite for Education embedded throughout. Collaborative cloud technology gives you access to the latest tools, when and where it suits you. More tech-enabled classrooms mean less time spent on admin.
  • More ambitious, professional and passionate colleagues - All focused on delivering remarkable lives.

Closing date: Sunday 5 April 2020

In line with the Government’s announcement, our academy is operating on a rota basis to allow those children of workers critical to the COVID-19 response the opportunity to attend. However, during this period it is our intention to continue with essential recruitment for key positions starting in September 2020. We want to reassure applicants that effective measures will be implemented to ensure their health and wellbeing and in most cases we will use a virtual recruitment process.

Thank you for your cooperation during this difficult time.

We are committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate will be required for all posts. This post will be subject to enhanced checks as part of our Prevent Duty.

Academies Enterprise Trust embraces diversity and promotes equality of opportunity.  Job share, part-time and flexible working opportunities will be considered.

AET was established in 2008 and is now a national network of 57 primary, secondary and special academies. We are proud of our diverse and inclusive network of schools which span nearly every region in the country.

This is a hugely exciting time to be joining the organisation, and as we pivot from being in turnaround mode to becoming a high performance organisation on the pathway to sustainable excellence. This will see us building our in-house education improvement capacity and expertise, making sure that our schools have all the support they need to deliver an excellent education for every child, every day.
