  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We are seeking a Year 5/6 Teacher (APRE Release) committed to providing a valuable contribution to our school community for 2019 through both curriculum and extra-curricular activities. The successful candidate will optimally have experience teaching in the Primary Years and enthusiasm for motivating and challenging this age group with quality learning and teaching. To be successful in this role you will be able to meet the following criteria: have proven organisational, behaviour management and communication skills; have an ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers and have a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum. Employment Tenure:   Part Time + Fixed Term

Tenure Duration (if "Fixed Term"):  12 Months

If Part Time, hours and/or days required: Five (5) days per fortnight

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019 


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
