Aquatics Coordinator

This whole-school teaching position focuses on delivering excellent aquatics instruction while promoting water safety, fitness, and enjoyment for all students.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess aquatics lessons across all year groups following the UK curriculum standards.
- Coordinate swimming programs including skill development, water safety education, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure safe use of pool facilities in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other staff members to integrate aquatics into broader physical education initiatives.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and school leadership.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching aquatics within a school setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, water safety protocols, coaching methods, and aquatic program management.
- Ability to engage students at different skill levels from beginners to advanced swimmers.
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with students, colleagues, parents, and external providers.
