Arabic Teacher

Durham School is seeking an outstanding and talented Arabic teacher to teach both Arabic first language and second language pupils. The successful candidate may be required to teach in both the Junior and Senior School. This position represents an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an exceptional, experienced, flexible and adaptable teacher to play a leading role in the further development of an outstanding Arabic department at Durham Dubai as the school enters its third year of operation.

Following the very successful opening years of the school, Durham School Dubai will continue to grow next September extending provision to include Year 10. Continued growth is confidently expected with the Senior School eventually extending to provide A Level awards.

At Durham School Dubai we pride ourselves on our commitment to, and quality of, our teaching of Arabic. The school follows the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and the National Curriculum of England in Junior and Senior Departments. Our Arabic curriculum follows a bespoke curriculum for Arabic B and follows the Ministry syllabus for Arabic A in accordance with UAE regulations. Familiarity in delivering UAE Ministry syllabus is essential.
