About International School Ikast-Brande

International School Ikast-Brande is located in the heart of Denmark. We have approximately 200 students on roll, aged from under-3s to 16 year-olds, with a secondary section comprising approximately 70 students. ISIB is a big family with a strong community atmosphere. Requirements

• A formal teaching qualification (e.g. a bachelor’s degree in education, PGCE, or their equivalent)

• At least two years’ teaching experience

• Previous experience of the English National Curriculum and teaching Key Stage 3 and IGCSE Art & Design examination groups will be valuable, as will experience of supporting students to reach their full potential when taking examinations

• Experience of working internationally is desirable

Package

A typical salary is within the range of 28000 DKK and 34000 DKK, before tax. Salary is calculated according to a national pay scale based on experience and qualifications. The package also includes 17.3% pension paid in full by the school in addition to your salary, which can be claimed on final departure (subject to Danish tax). Danish residency gives access to the excellent Danish healthcare system, and many other services.
