Connie Rothman Learning Trust are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Art and Design Teacher who is passionate about their subject area to join our small independent special school in Bournemouth, a beautiful area on the south coast. The role will be on a part time basis working 0.2/0.4 of FTE. There is an opportunity to help contribute to the design of the delivery of the subject and a future expansion of the role.
CRLT is a trust that specialises with students who predominantly have ASC, anxiety, depression and physical disabilities. Understanding the needs of this student population is highly desirable. We are a small, friendly team who work closely together to help our students achieve the best academic outcomes possible and support them as they grow and develop.
The right candidate for this role will have experience in teaching Art to key stage 3 and 4 and be able to differentiate work for small groups of students in a special school setting. They will be experienced in planning high quality teaching that engages their students with initiative resources. It will be imperative that they are able to work as a part of a team, and be able to direct the support staff working with them.
