Job overview
With 850 pupils, aged from 3 to 13, Dulwich Prep London is the largest boys’ independent prep school in the UK. Located in the heart of Dulwich, the school is proud of its rich history of ‘inspiring excellence’ since 1885; today we are firmly focused on preparing our boys for an exciting future.
Art at the Prep is thriving; London (with all its artistic and cultural resources), purpose-built facilities, skilled teaching and enthused pupils (keen to take risks in their learning!) have combined brilliantly to achieve unparalleled success in international and national competition as well as numerous senior school awards.
We are seeking to employ a passionate teacher who will create and inspire meaningful links between Art and Design and Technology. Experience in teaching Art up to and including KS4, with strong technical skills in 2D and 3D making processes is essential; a possible specialism in Sculpture is desirable. Strong technical skills in Resistant Materials would be an advantage.
