Art and Design Technician

A unique opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Art and Design Technician to support the vibrant and successful Art and Design Technology department at the Richmond upon Thames School.

  • Is interested in Art, Design and Technology

  • Able to work independently to develop projects and see them through
  • Able to act as a role model and ambassador for the Richmond upon Thames School
  • Actively promote the Art, Design and Technology department both internally and externally

RTS opened to 150 Year 7s in September 2017 and has grown 150 year on year until we reached capacity in September 2022. We are an 11-16 mixed school with an open admissions criteria. The school will be co-located with Clarendon School, Richmond upon Thames College and site neighbours Harlequins on the Richmond Education and Enterprise Campus (www.reec.org.uk).

The Richmond upon Thames School opened in September 2017 and is based in Twickenham, south-west London. RTS is a co-educational, non-selective and non-faith secondary school which caters for 11- to 16-year-olds. RTS offers its students a huge range of opportunities, because of its unique access to real-world facilities through its on-site partners, Harlequins, Haymarket, Richmond upon Thames College and Clarendon School.
