Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic, suitably qualified Art and DT Teacher, for three days a week, to join our hard-working team of educators from September 2024.
This is an exciting opportunity to play an important part in the development and growth of our school at a key moment. We are looking for someone with energy and drive and a vision for Art and Design Technology in school and how to develop this curriculum area in an exciting way. We are open to ideas, and will look at the experience and creativity of each candidate.
Up-to-date knowledge of current practices and educational pedagogy is a prerequisite for this role. Qualified Teachers Status (QTS), an understanding of the Independent School Sector is desirable but not essential.

St. Christopher’s is a traditional co-educational Preparatory school for boys and girls from 3-11 years, which stands in its own grounds in the heart of Beckenham.
The school has been extended and updated to provide more classrooms, specially equipped rooms for music, drama and art, two libraries and two well-proportioned halls. There are two classes in each year group from Upper Kindergarten to Year 6.
