Art & DT Teacher

Required for September 2024 onwards. This is a great opportunity for an outstanding, enthusiastic and well-qualified or newly qualified teacher of Art and/or DT who is keen to develop their teaching skills in a successful school that will provide great support and encouragement. Seven Kings is an oversubscribed, harmonious, all through community school with exemplary behaviour. Specialists are supported to teach across the age ranges developing in students a lifelong love of the creative arts.

The Art and DT departments aim is to provide an experience at all Key Stages that allows students to be creative and innovative in their work. Our exciting curriculum enables students to take risks and acquire skills in a wide range of techniques. We strive for the best in all our students. Finely honed teaching strategies and highly personalised approach has resulted in a legacy of excellent outcomes. We believe very strongly in collaborative planning and the successful candidate will join close-knit and supportive teams. Both departments are popular at GCSE and A Level and the student voice is passionate about these subjects throughout the school. The leaders have reputations for their outstanding outcomes through growing outstanding practitioners.

We also run our own ECF programme across the partnership to ensure a supportive, personalised and collaborative 2 years of learning as well as leadership programmes to develop all of our staff.
