Job overview

If you have a passion for your subject, what better place to teach than Crewe Engineering and Design UTC?

With state of the art engineering and design facilities our campus allows students to work across a range of art, design & engineering disciplines. We have a cohort of talented & dedicated students across key stage 4 and 5, and a staff made up of equally passionate colleagues with a range of industry and educational experience. Our college could be the next exciting step in your own professional journey.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Art & Engineering Design teacher. As well as our specialist curriculum and excellent pastoral care, we are known for our exceptional facilities. While a passion for teaching is essential, experience across the full range of specialist equipment here is not. We can provide full training on all our equipment, including support to help you integrate your new skills into your own classroom practice.

I’d like to hear from new or experienced teachers who know that our subject can be transformative, and I’d encourage any potential candidates to get in touch for an informal chat or a tour of our campus by contacting Mr W Chitty, Principal at w.chitty@creweutc.org.uk or on 01270 218150. For further information, please visit our website Crewe UTC (utccrewe.co.uk)

If you believe that this is an environment where you can thrive, develop and substantially contribute to an exciting future for Crewe Engineering & Design UTC, we welcome your application.

In return we will offer the successful candidate:

• A welcoming college with friendly, enthusiastic and supportive staff

• Inquisitive and self-motivated children to inspire

• Staff benefits

• Employee Assistance Programme

Closing date: 5 March 2023
