St. Aloysius’ College is a high performing Roman Catholic Boys secondary school with a Mixed Sixth Form in the London borough of Islington. It has a rich History of providing over 140 years of high-quality education to the local community. The College is on a journey to Outstanding having received a “Good” Section 5 OFSTED Report in June 2022.We are seeking to recruit a Design Technology Technician, to help us deliver outstanding educational opportunities to our pupils.

Design Technology Technician to do the following:
· Good experience of technician support in a school environment,
· Working effectively with secondary aged pupils,
· Clear understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities,
· Have an interest in and be skilled in display
· Be an experienced Technician (ideally Secondary school experience) or prepared to undergo training.
· Be creative and innovative to engage students in a class
· Passionate about Design and young people
· Have ambition and tenacity
· Encourage students to reach their full potential.
· Have an awareness of Health and Safety in a workshop.

About St Aloysius RC College
St Aloysius’ College was founded in 1879 by the Brothers of Mercy as a Roman Catholic Independent School, then passed to the De La Salle Brothers in 1960. St Aloysius’ College is privileged to be the oldest surviving foundation of its kind in the Archdiocese of Westminster.
Today, St Aloysius’ College is a comprehensive 11-18 Roman Catholic boys school and is proud of its Catholic tradition. The College has a good academic reputation, providing a caring environment and positive outcomes. Upon entering the school each boy is given a sound and stimulating curriculum. The College is housed on a magnificent site off Highgate Hill overlooking a panorama of London together with thirteen acres of playing fields.
