Are you looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a successful and dynamic Art and Technology department? 

Greenshaw High School is a highly over-subscribed 11-19 comprehensive school situated in Sutton, south-west London, and is part of the Greenshaw Learning Trust. We are looking for a highly organized and pro-active Art, Food Technology and Textiles Technician, with an interest in art and technology, and the ability to inspire our students. The successful candidate will provide extensive support to the department and have overall responsibility for organising and setting up demonstrations in their departments. For the right candidate, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a successful Art and Technology department.

The successful post holder will have a real interest and enthusiasm for art, food technology and textiles, and a desire to work with young people and to support their education and achievements. Applications are particularly welcome from candidates with prior experience of working in a busy support role in an Art and Technology department.

Art and Design Technology at Greenshaw are popular curriculum areas taught by a range of enthusiastic, experienced and well qualified specialists. Many of its students choose to continue with an Art or Design Technology pathway into further education and employment and the department is proud of its success in placing students onto some of the best degree courses in the country.
