Job overview
We are looking to appoint a hard working, enthusiastic and committed Art Teacher to cover maternity leave, who is able to teach Art across the age and ability range up to and including GCSE. Our Art Department consists of a team of experienced and highly motivated colleagues and we are looking for a candidate who can make a positive contribution to a successful team. Art is a popular and successful option choice, we would like interested applicants to bring a portfolio of their own and student work if invited to interview.

Dear Candidate,
We are a large secondary school, part of the Education Partnership Trust (EPT), situated on the northern outskirts of Blackburn. Our school community is made up of 1350 students and 180 staff with excellent facilities to benefit both the school and local community. Pleckgate High School is a thriving multicultural community that places the best interests of young people at the heart of everything we do.
