Teachers Pay & Conditions – Permanent Position

This position is full time and salary is variable according to teacher’s position on pay scale, main pay range or upper pay range. Minimum £22,467 + SEN*; Maximum £38,250 + SEN*
* An SEN allowance A (£2,064.00), B (£3,098.64) or C (£4,115.64) is payable to GHES teachers depending on SEND experience and qualifications.

Gloucestershire Hospital Education Service is an outstanding  Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) educating young people medically unable to attend school. We require an experienced, capable, full-time, specialist Art teacher to work peripatetically across the county with our exciting and innovative team. This position involves teaching mainly 1:1 to KS3 and KS4 pupils in their homes.

The candidate needs to be willing to teach another subject area as required (English would be the preferred subject but others also considered). Experience of, or an interest in, online delivery of lessons as part of our provision, as well as flexibility and commitment to inclusion, is essential for this exciting and unique role. 

Start date - September 2017.

Candidates will need to hold a full driving license and have use of a car. In line with our safer recruitment policy this post will also be subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure check.
