We seek to appoint an Art Teacher who will help us to revolutionise our school's focus on creativity. We have an incredibly enthusiastic and committed team in our Art & Design Department, so we are looking for someone compliment their vision and the energy. We want someone to help inspire our students to challenge their own artistic boundaries; to fill our hallways, library, classrooms, staffrooms (basically anywhere a wall or a display space exists) with art!
The successful appointee will need to be able to teach up to at least IGCSE level, and ideally be a tireless advocate of the opportunities that A levels art options can provide. Help us bring the very essential 21st century skill of creativity to the fore in our school learning programme!
The HELP International School is at the forefront of holistic education for 3 to 18-year olds in Malaysia. Entering its sixth year of operation, it has enjoyed phenomenal growth with 1400 students on its roll. The school is now entering a period of consolidation, as it seeks to further deepen and broaden the culture of continual improvement that has been in evidence since the school’s founding.
A recent consultation with staff highlighted the levels of collegiality and professional support amongst staff as a particular strength of the school, as its commitment to on-going professional development of all team members. Our host country, Malaysia is an amazing place to live and work in. Many of our staff are now into their fourth year of working at our school.
The appointment commences from in August 2020. The remuneration package offers a competitive salary, and includes housing, medical insurance, annual flights, Apple Macbook Air laptop, education for dependent children and other benefits.
