The Academy Nunthorpe is a very popular, outstanding, co-educational 11 – 19 comprehensive converter Academy with approximately 1600 students on roll.
We became the ‘Lead Teaching School’ of the North East Schools teaching alliance (NESTA) in September 2014

The Candidate
We require an energetic, inspirational and talented teacher with a genuine intellect and passion for Art education to teach across the 11 – 19 age and ability range. The successful candidate will have the ability and potential to consistently deliver outstanding lessons; and be ambitious for the achievement of every student in their care.

Nunthorpe Academy is part of Nunthorpe Multi Academy Trust (NMAT).
Nunthorpe Academy is a mainstream, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough, and has over 1600 students. The Academy was rated “Good” in its most recent Ofsted inspection (2019) whilst the sixth form provision maintained its 'Outstanding' status.
