The Laurus Trust is a rapidly expanding multi-academy trust with a reputation for outstanding teaching and learning.
We have a strong heritage. Our founder school, Cheadle Hulme High School, has been judged as Outstanding in its last two Ofsted inspections. Gorsey Bank is a high performing primary in Wilmslow and we are also home to the Altius Alliance, a teacher training provider which has been given the top grade by Ofsted. We have seven schools in total across the Trust including a brand new school Didsbury High School which opened in September 2019 and Hazel Grove High School which joined the Trust in September 2019.
This is, therefore, an important stage in the development of The Laurus Trust. With our growth comes the opportunity for talented staff to make their mark.
We are looking for an Art Technician Lead to join Cheadle Hulme High School. We recognise that our non-teaching staff are critical to the success of the Trust.
The Art Department is a highly successful and creative part of the school. Students from Year 7 to 13 explore a wide range of disciplines from ceramics to photography and the department is equipped with specialist equipment to support this in its network of rooms. The Department is made up of four members of teaching staff as well as a technician, who is deemed an important member of the team. As well as supporting the day to day running of the department, the technician helps with more focused activities such as showcasing work and supporting students.
