We are looking to appoint an Art Technician to support and provide a full range of technician services to the Art Department and to give support to the site team in regard to general maintenance tasks. The role will include care of art working areas and inspection/maintenance of equipment. Maintaining stock levels, equipment inventory and maintaining attractive learning environments and school displays artistically around the school site.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work both individually and as part of a team. You should also have a sound knowledge of Art and a desire to learn more.
Previous experience as an Art technician would be an advantage but full training will be given.

Blue Coat is a successful and oversubscribed school in the heart of the city of Coventry. As a Christian school our intake draws from both the local area and across the city and surrounding areas. Consequently we have a diverse intake and a culturally thriving school. The school was graded 'Outstanding' in its SIAMS inspection and 'Good' by Ofsted in May 2023 with 3 'Outstanding' categories. Our most recent Progress 8 score was +0.42. The vast majority of our students stay on into the sixth form and continue their studies.
We have a large and successful Post 16 provision with 350 pupils on average studying either A levels or Vocational Level 3 courses. We have excellent rates of progression to universities, apprenticeships and employment.
