Temporary post from September 2019 to August 2020
We require a technician to assist the Art and Design Department to provide technical help for students in a variety of areas as well as maintaining the efficient running of the department. Knowledge of art room practise within the specialist areas of design, painting and print making is required. Experience with photographic equipment and processes is also an advantage, however training can be given.

The Sixth Form College Colchester is a non-denominational, mixed sixth-form college for around 3,200 students aged 16 and older. It was founded in 1987 and is located on the site of a former school. The old building at the college dates back to 1912.
In 2011, the Sixth Form College Colchester opened a new language centre; a series of new buildings, including a performing arts centre, have been added in recent years. Among its alumni are television presenter Dermot O’Leary and Blur frontman Damon Albarn.
