Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Art Technician to support our Film and TV specialist curriculum. The role will provide support to the Craft department at LSA which includes Art Direction, Costume and Hair and Makeup to enable the optimum use of the craft facilities.
There will be a training requirement as part of the role, working with teachers to deliver one to one or small group training and demonstrations on our specialist equipment and studios. The role will also be responsible for issuing, collecting and monitoring use of prop and costume store, using a booking system to minimise loss and damage. It would be useful if the role holder were able to conduct basic fault finding and repairs on sewing machines and other technical equipment.
