Job overview

We require an Art and Design Technician with good communication skills and enthusiasm for working with young people to support students’ learning, specialising in 3D Art and Design.  


You would assist staff and students in a wide range of art and design activities.  This will include preparation, monitoring and maintenance of equipment and materials and assisting with demonstrations of equipment and processes including CAD CAM machinery.


You should possess a qualification in Art and Design and have gained experience in an art and design related role, including experience of 3D art and design techniques. You should also have excellent communication skills, be flexible and have enthusiasm for working with young people in a fast-paced, creative environment.  


The College has recently introduced a Working from Home policy. You may be able to work a proportion of your work time from home. Working from Home may be possible where this does not adversely impact on the operational needs of the College.
