King Edward’s School and King Edward VI High School are looking to recruit a part time, all year round Arts and Events Assistant to work in the Ruddock Performing Arts Centre. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a demanding customer facing environment, and will be motivated, professional and flexible in their approach to work.

This is a permanent, part-time, all-year round role. The standard working hours are 20 hours per week, 12.00pm to 4.00pm. Flexibility around working hours will be required, as it is essential that the Arts & Events Assistant is generally available to support performance and events according to the rota. Additional hours will be worked on a time off in lieu (TOIL) basis. The role has a salary of £12,404 per annum (£22,948 per annum full-time equivalent), at Grade 5 SCP 12 on the Support Staff salary scale.

First Aid, Fire Warden Training and Evac Chair training will be provided, if not already undertaken.
