Join Our Team as an MYP/DP Arts Teacher

Are you a creative and passionate educator ready to inspire young minds through the arts? The Island Private School of Limassol is seeking an enthusiastic Arts Teacher to join our team in August 2025. As part of our innovative Arts Faculty, you’ll guide students in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), fostering their creativity and developing their appreciation for Visual Arts.

As an Arts Teacher, You Will:

  • Design and Deliver Inspiring Lessons: Create engaging and dynamic Visual Arts lessons aligned with the MYP and DP frameworks, tailoring instruction to diverse learning styles.
  • Foster Creativity and Confidence: Build an inclusive and supportive environment where students can explore and express their artistic ideas.
  • Assess and Guide Growth: Implement effective assessment strategies aligned with MYP and DP criteria, provide meaningful feedback, and track progress through ManageBac.
  • Collaborate with Educators: Work closely with colleagues to ensure an interdisciplinary approach and actively participate in curriculum planning.
  • Engage Beyond the Classroom: Organize art-related extracurricular activities, exhibitions, and trips to galleries and museums to inspire creativity beyond the classroom.
  • Involve Parents: Establish open communication with parents about students' progress and celebrate their achievements through showcases and exhibitions.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or Art Education (required).
  • Teaching certification or qualification (PGCE, QTS) is preferred.
  • Experience teaching Visual Arts at the MYP and/or DP level is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach with a commitment to building a positive school culture.


Recruitment process:

  1. Panel interview including Head of school, Arts Faculty Lead and Employee Success Manager (30 minutes).
  2. Online trial lesson (60 minutes).
  3. Final interview with the Founder and CEO (20 minutes).

Our Campus

Currently we are operating in a temporary campus, opened in September 2022 which includes 3 areas: Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary School as well as outdoor sport courts, playgrounds, canteen, 2 art studios, 2 music rooms and 2 libraries.

Future Campus

Drawing inspiration from renowned educational projects worldwide and working in collaboration with one of the leading architectural bureaus, we are about to shape the future of our school. Among other features, the permanent campus will include 5 laboratories, 2 art studios, swimming pool, sports base for both indoor and outdoor activities and much more.

By 2026, we aim to bring our vision to life and establish a vibrant educational environment for global citizens. This inclusive space will cater to the needs of our students, parents, teachers and international specialists, fostering mutual support and collaboration.
