Ifield Community College is looking to appoint an Arts Technician to work with teachers as part of a professional team and to support learning by providing technical assistance through the preparation and maintenance of teaching areas and equipment for students. This role will involve providing direct support to students.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of procedures for preparation, use and maintenance of materials and equipment equivalent to National Qualifications Level 2 and have good knowledge of relevant Health and Safety policies relating to this area of work. You will also have knowledge of appropriate use of specialist equipment and materials and have the ability to communicate this knowledge with staff and students, and act as a role model for students.
We have excellent facilities in a state of the art building, which is situated in a pleasant location only 30 minutes to both Croydon and Brighton, by rail or car.
