We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic learning support assistant to join our happy and hardworking team at Hook Lane.
You will be responsible for supporting the learning of individual children, in all key stages, with autistic spectrum disorder within the resourced provision. You will work under the direction of the specialist teacher, class teacher and inclusion manager to support children in both small groups and in the mainstream class. You will also be responsible for assisting the children during lunch time as a member of the lunch club staff, leading play activities during this time and supporting children with eating when necessary. Experience of working with children with ASD in a school environment is essential.
