William Morris Sixth Form, situated in Hammersmith, was established as the country’s first 16-19 comprehensive school. We offer 800 students from West London and beyond an exciting range of academic and vocational courses from foundation learning through to advanced level. WMSF is an over-subscribed, vibrant, inner-city learning community which has the individual student at the heart of everything it does.

Contract: Full-time, temporary maternity cover position – up to one year. Part-time applications will also be considered.
Salary: Scale PO3 £36,186 - £39,069 p.a. 36 hours per week.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced person to join our team, taking responsibility for the management and administration of all aspects of external and internal examinations and performance data.

You will ensure the smooth running and integrity of all systems and procedures related to public examinations and develop and maintain systems for the efficient and effective administration of examinations. You will ensure that up-to-date records of external results are produced and accurate records of student attainment and other data are checked and maintained. You will also produce data and reports, including the census, provide statistical data and management reports for the Leadership Group and update and amend internal assessment systems on the MIS.

You will be educated to degree level with substantial experience in a relevant area, including an in-depth knowledge of examination administrative procedures, together with a good understanding of the qualification system and how qualifications are assessed and awarded. You will possess excellent communication, organisational, numeracy and statistical skills, including the ability to manipulate and analyse large volumes of data. You will also have excellent IT skills with experience of using bespoke management information systems and/or other database experience.

This is a busy and demanding role and you will need the ability to work quickly and accurately and remain calm and cheerful under pressure. You will also have the desire to work in a busy, multi-cultural environment where young people are at the heart of everything we do.
