Assessment Manager, Humanities (Latin and Classical Greek)
Contract: Part time (22.5 hours per week), Maternity Cover (11 months)
Salary: £40,000 - £46,000
What it’s about
This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative, dynamic team working at our offices in Cambridge to produce top-class assessments. This position is based within the Humanities Group and will suit an experienced Classicist and/or specialist in ancient languages looking for a new challenge. The role will involve managing a range of Humanities qualifications for assessment products including IGCSE Latin and Sanskrit, Pre U Latin and Classical Greek.
You will manage the continuous development and cost effective delivery of a portfolio of syllabuses and support materials that meet the needs of all our international and UK customers. Ensuring that external consultants are fully competent to deliver assessments and support customers with training and consultancy services in accordance with Cambridge International's standards.
Ideally, we are looking for someone educated to degree level or equivalent in a Classical subject, who has knowledge and experience of assessment in education.
It would be advantageous but not essential, if you have a teaching qualification and/or prior teaching experience, and knowledge of international education.
